Birmingham-Southern College (BSC) invites applications for a tenure-track position in macroeconomics at the Assistant Professor level.

BSC, a selective residential liberal arts college, enrolls approximately 1200 undergraduate students. Providing an outstanding undergraduate education is the primary mission of the College, and applicants must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. The College’s curriculum is based on close faculty-student interaction in teaching, advising, and research. Besides teaching core macroeconomic courses, exceptional candidates must demonstrate the ability to contribute to some of the College’s interdisciplinary programs.

Submit a letter of application, CV, statement of teaching philosophy, statement of research interests, copy of graduate transcripts, diversity statement, and three letters of recommendation (two must address teaching) to Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
