The Society Hub of HKUST (Guangzhou) has four thrust areas: Urban Governance and Design (UGOD), Innovation, Policy, and Entrepreneurship (IPE), FinTech (FTEC), and MBA+. Each Thrust Area has multiple tenure-track positions to fill at any rank. In particular, UGOD has a general interest in applied economics such as Labor Economics, Education/Human Capital, and Urban and Regional Economics; IPE is interested in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Environmental Economics, Health Economics, and Decision Science and Behavioral Economics and Finance; FTEC and MBA+ are interested in Asset Pricing, Corporate Finance, Financial Econometrics, and other FinTech related areas.

Salary is highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The university offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package.
