The Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Campus invites applications for up to two senior professorial positions, at the Associate or Full Professor level. Our priority fields of search are International Trade, Environmental Economics, Public Economics and Macroeconomics . Starting date: July 1, 2021.

The successful candidate will be appointed to the rank appropriate to their level of experience. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have a Ph.D., a distinguished international reputation, an outstanding record of publications in top-ranked journals, a proven record of excellence in teaching, and a track record of effective graduate level supervision. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active program of research, teaching, graduate supervision, and service. Candidates hired into tenured positions must be approved by the appropriate VSE Promotion and Tenure Committee and the university’s Senior Appointments Committee before the appointment can be tenured.
