The Washington and Lee University Economics Department invites applications for up to two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor. We welcome applications from all subfields. Applications from candidates willing to teach courses in applied macroeconomics, industrial organization, or labor economics will receive particular attention. The appointment begins July 1, 2021. The Economics Department offers opportunities to develop courses in candidates’ field of specialization, including opportunities to collaborate with campus interdisciplinary programs. In addition, the department features an active research seminar, and strong research support.

Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Economics or related field is expected by the time of appointment; teaching experience is highly desirable.
