The Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama is seeking a candidate for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies. Primary duties include teaching economics at the graduate and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in articles in high-quality scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University. The position will start August 16, 2021.

Required Qualifications: A Ph.D. in economics or a closely related field is required. A demonstrated track record/potential for publication in high-quality economics journals is required.

Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to candidates with research and teaching experience in Applied Econometrics and/or Experimental Methods, that fit into one of the following Department priority areas:

Development Economics
Labor and Demographic Economics
Public Economics
