The Economics Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for a position in applied econometrics or econometrics at the Assistant Professor tenure-track level (JPF00939). We also welcome applications from candidates with research in applied fields whose portfolio includes significant contributions to econometrics.
The Economics Department has a Ph.D. program, a professional Master’s program, and several undergraduate programs. Applicants will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; advise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; contribute to graduate education, the research environment of the department, and to university and professional service; and work with students, faculty and staff from a wide range of social and cultural backgrounds.
