The Department of Economics seeks applicants for a position as teaching faculty at the ranks of assistant teaching professor, associate teaching professor, or full teaching professor. The primary responsibilities of teaching faculty are to teach undergraduate courses and to provide advising to undergraduate students. Teaching faculty positions are fixed-term but with an expectation of renewal conditional on demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and advising. Candidates from all fields of economics who have demonstrated excellence and commitment to teaching are encouraged to apply. Candidates should either have a PhD or expect to complete the PhD by the Summer of 2021.

All applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching success, and three letters of recommendation to Interfolio http://apply.interfolio.com/78718. Candidates may also submit one or more research papers; research activity is not necessary for the position but is considered a plus. Reviews of applications will commence on November 9 and continue until the position is filled. The position will close to new applications on April 1, 2021.
