The Korea Maritime Institute(KMI) is a government-funded research institute in Korea committed to
research for the development of shipping, ports, marine, and fisheries industries, becoming a specialized research
institute in the maritime affairs and fisheries sector. We have openings for senior researcher positions and welcome applications from qualified economists.

Application deadline is 10/04/2020 PM 18:00(Korean Standard Time) and interviews will be taking place around October 2020 at KMI headquarter in Busan, Korea, Republic of. More information about the KMI is available on the KMI's website at www.kmi.re.kr.

Qualifications:
1. Applicants should have a Ph.D in the fields listed in KMI recruitment page(https://recruit-kmi.saramin.co.kr)or should complete all requirements for the Ph.D by the appointment date.
2. Applicants should be Korean citizens who have the mandatory military service requirement either fulfilled or waivered.
