The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is looking for a diverse group of new and experienced PhD economists in multiple fields to reinforce the Bank’s efforts to foster sustainable economic growth, with a focus on monetary policy and financial stability. Economists at the New York Fed are expected to produce high-quality research for publication in refereed journals and to provide policy analysis tied to improving the soundness and vitality of the economy. Salaries are commensurate with experience and level of achievement.

The Economist position requires access to confidential supervisory information and/or FOMC information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined in the U.S. federal immigration law.
