Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Cluster of Excellence Hausdorff Center for Mathematics at the University of Bonn combines researches in Theoretical and Applied Mathematics, and Mathematical Economics. In this framework, the university looks forward to filling two Hausdorff Chairs which correspond to full professorships with tenure. One of the positions will be devoted to Theoretical Mathematics, the other one to Applied mathematics or Mathematical Economics. There are no further specifications concerning the scientific direction.

We seek internationally outstanding scientists who fit into the broad spectrum of the Cluster of Excellence. Depending on the respective research focus, candidates will become members of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences or of the Faculty of Law and Economics at the University of Bonn.

Pertinent teaching experience and participation in all phases of studies in German or English is expected. Knowledge of the German language is not required.
