The Department of Economics and Finance at The University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) invites applications to fill two tenure track positions as Assistant Professor of Finance or Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics in the area of real estate, and in the area of banking and financial institutions, respectively. Preference given to candidates who can assist department’s needs in investments, international, managerial and entrepreneurial finance, and/or FinTech, and have publishing success in ranked finance/ economics journals. Completion of Ph.D. degree in Finance/Economics, as applicable, from an AACSB-accredited institution by starting date, demonstrated expertise in said areas, and excellent interpersonal/communication skills required. Starting date is September 1, 2021. Salary/benefits are AACSB-competitive and appropriate for experience/qualifications. Hiring decisions subject to final budgetary approval.
