The Economics and Social Sciences Area at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore seeks to recruit candidates at all levels who have strong research potential/credentials. Areas of research may include, but are not limited to, the following:

JEL classifications:

C01 - Econometrics
E - Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics
H - Public Economics
J - Labor and Demographic Economics
L - Industrial Organization

Candidates applying at the Professor/Associate Professor level must have a strong research record with publications in leading journals and should have demonstrated academic leadership. Candidates applying at the Assistant Professor level should demonstrate potential in research and teaching.

IIM Bangalore strongly encourages applications from qualified women and reserved category candidates.
