Full Text of JOE Listing:

The School of Analytics, Finance, and Economics has two Assistant Professor positions available, one in Econometrics and the other in Applied Economics. Both positions are continuing, tenure track, 9-month appointments to start August 16, 2021. We invite those with potential for excellence in research and teaching to submit an application.

For the Econometrics position, one must have a PhD in Economics or a related field with a specialization in Econometrics. The Applied Economics position requires a PhD in Economics with a specialization in a field within Applied Economics such as Development, Environmental, Financial, Health, International, Labor or Monetary Economics.

ABD applicants will be considered if all requirements for the PhD degree will be completed by August 15, 2021. 

If selected, you will participate in undergraduate and graduate teaching, engage in scholarly research, and provide School/University service appropriate to your academic rank. Applicants must show strong potential to engage in research that leads to publications in high quality journals and effective teaching at both the undergraduate and doctoral levels. Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to the Business Analytics program. Candidates who have experience working with a diverse range of faculty, staff, and students and who can contribute to the climate of inclusiveness are encouraged to identify their experiences in these areas in their cover letter.
