The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) of Osaka University invites applications for one assistant professor position (Koshi or Jokyo, in Japanese) in economics, beginning on or after October 1, 2020, and ending on September 30, 2023. The appointment is for the fixed term mentioned above, with the possibility of one renewal. All fields of economics will be considered.
Duties include managing the experimental laboratories at ISER. Excellent Japanese-language proficiency is also required.
