The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago is seeking to appoint outstanding scholars to tenured positions in Economics, such as Macroeconomics (including international economics) and Microeconomics beginning in the 2021-22 academic year. Applications are invited from individuals who have earned a PhD (or equivalent) and have experience on the tenure-track faculty at a major research university.

Each candidate should submit a curriculum vitae, course evaluations from prior teaching, at least two samples of written work, a research statement, and the names of five scholars willing to evaluate the candidate’s ability, research, and teaching.

Members of our faculty are expected to conduct original research of exceptionally high quality, to teach effectively, and to participate in and contribute to the academic environment at the University.
