We invite applications for a postdoctoral scholar in the Management of INnovation, Entrepreneurial Research, and Venture Analysis (MINERVA) Research Lab. Applicants should have research interests and experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, and science policy with backgrounds in Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related fields. The scholar will work closely with the Lab on active research projects as well as be expected to continue their own research with efforts to publish in leading academic journals. Beyond research, scholars will also mentor students in the lab and manage lab activities.

The position is a full-time one-year appointment renewable for up to three years with competitive compensation and benefits. The appointment will begin Summer or Fall 2020.

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree by the start of the appointment in a relevant field with a strong background in quantitative analysis. Successful candidates will demonstrate independence, attention to detail, openness to learn new skills, and ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary environment.

MINERVA is part of the Innovation Node-Los Angeles, one of the NSF I-Corps Nodes. Our research is centered around financing of innovation and technology policy and practice, with researchers in systems engineering, computer science, economics, and public policy.
