The Department of Economics at Washington and Lee University invites applicants for two one-year visiting positions for the 2020-21 academic year. These are non-tenure-track appointments with teaching loads of six courses per year (3-3). All candidates should be prepared to teach principles as well as an upper-level course, such as macroeconomic theory or a 200- or 300-level elective. Appointments begin July 1, 2020. Evidence of teaching effectiveness is highly desirable.

The candidate must possess the qualifications necessary to be designated academically qualified as a faculty member in accordance with AACSB standards (Ph.D. in economics or related field at the time of appointment). Individuals who are ABD and will not hold the Ph.D. by the time of appointment will be considered.
