We are currently seeking Associates with a focus in industrial organization/anti-trust to join our growing competition practice in our North America offices.

Associates are central members of each project team and apply economic theory and quantitative methods to high profile antitrust investigations and regulatory projects as well as expert reports in the context of litigation on behalf of our clients. All Associates are responsible for framing research approaches, managing projects, supervising colleagues, and developing client relationships while building individual expertise. Brattle is committed to continuous training and development for consultants and has a strong track record of developing Associates into Principals/Experts.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess
•PhD (or ABD) in Economics – focus in Empirical Industrial Organization is strongly desired
•Pre or postgraduate work experience in a related work environment (preferably at a competition authority, government agency, or economic consulting firm) is strongly desired
•Intellectual curiosity
•Strong analytic and quantitative skills (including proficiency with analytical/statistical software such as STATA, R, and Excel), along with practical problem solving abilities
•An entrepreneurial drive
•Strong relationship building skills
•Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communications
•Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
•Demonstrated record of outstanding academic and/or practical accomplishment
