Professor Genevieve Kanter is seeking a full-time predoctoral research assistant / research coordinator. The position at the University of Pennsylvania will support research in health policy and the regulation of biomedical technologies, precision medicine, and physician-industry relationships.

Primary responsibilities include identifying data sources, compiling data, and preparing data for analyses using statistical software. Other responsibilities include conducting literature searches, drafting literature reviews, assisting with manuscript preparation, and assisting with grant and IRB submissions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, quantitative skills, attention to detail, oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated facility with SAS, Stata, or R.

A bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of research experience are required. All majors are welcome to apply, but applicants with economics, quantitative policy, statistics, or programming background with an interest in health economics or health policy would be the best fit for this position. Candidates interested in preparation for graduate school will have an opportunity to take courses tuition-free at the University of Pennsylvania.
