Penn State University - Abington (http://www.abington.psu.edu) invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position in Economics to begin in August 2020 (annual contract with the possibility of renewal). Candidates are expected to be able to teach introductory & advanced courses in Economics. The teaching load is 4 courses each semester. Faculty have advising responsibilities and are expected to contribute to the college community through service activities. Opportunities for professional development & promotion are available & supported.

Commitment to high-quality instruction in a student-centered environment is expected. The college serves racially & ethnically-diverse students from different socio-economic backgrounds, first-generation college students, & a significant international student population. Demonstrated commitment to helping students succeed through engagement in & out of the classroom is expected.

A Doctorate in Economics is preferred but candidates who are ABD or have a Master’s degree will be considered. Prior college teaching experience is strongly preferred.
