The Department of Economics and Business at Colorado College announces a one-year, non-tenure track Assistant Professor of Economics position to begin in August 2020. A PhD in economics is required, but ABD will be considered. Colorado College has committed to being an antiracist institution. The teaching load for this position will consist of five blocks (each three and a half weeks long) per year plus supervision of senior thesis students. This schedule lends itself to field and project-based teaching. Applicants should address their interest in and ideas for teaching on the Block Plan in their cover letter.
