The Department of Economics invites applications for the Wilcox Family Chair in Entrepreneurial Economics, a position open at the Associate or Full Professor level.

Applicants for the Wilcox Family Chair in Entrepreneurial Economics should apply to https://apptrkr.com/1743710. A complete application will include a CV, and a letter of intent which should be submitted by January 20, 2020. Review of completed applications will begin January 21, 2020. The position will remain open until filled. Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D. in economics or a related field by the time of application, with preference for candidates who currently hold the rank of Associate or Full Professor. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated research program that advances the study of economics, and with a record of teaching and mentoring. Preference will be given to individuals with corporate experience, business start-up experience, or a demonstrated interest in supporting entrepreneurship. It is expected that the chair holder will devote about half of his or her instructional efforts to teaching that supports student entrepreneurship. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2020.
