The Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Economics in its AACSB-accredited program. This full-time position has a 9-month service period and begins September 2020. Candidates will teach a variety of courses which could include introductory and intermediate economic theory, finance, and quantitative methods. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute as an engaged researcher and collaborative colleague to serve our growing school and campus in pursuit of our mission. The successful applicant will be expected to teach and be an integral member of a team of faculty and staff that is committed to excellence.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong record of research and have an active research program. Applicants should have a doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) granted or expected to be completed by summer 2020. We will consider applications from economists with any area of specialization, including but not limited to finance and quantitative methods.
