Northwood University seeks an economist with strong interpersonal and teaching skills to join our faculty beginning in the fall of 2020. Candidates will be expected to principles of economics and a number of upper level coursework in various areas. We are a small department with a need for generalists; All JEL classifications will be considered. Teaching load is four courses per semester. Additional responsibilities and expectations may include participation in on-going curriculum planning and review; research and scholarly activities. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a strong attraction to the core values and purpose of Northwood University. Minimum Qualification: ABD in Economics with expected Ph.D. before Jan.1, 2021. Prefer Ph.D. in Economics.
