The Sinquefield Center for Applied Economic Research is a new institute established at Saint Louis University whose mission is to support and advance rigorous research on topics pertaining to urban economic growth and social welfare. Center staff and affiliated researchers work on a broad range of applied economic research topics including education, health, regulation, taxation, entrepreneurship, and technology policy. We are interested in hiring post-docs and visiting scholars in the fields listed below. Length of contracts is negotiable. Of particular interest, are scholars making innovative use of large data sets (e.g., web based, social media, administrative, satellite) in assessing public policy.
