The School of Economics at the UNSW Sydney is seeking to make an appointment at the mid-career or professorial level (Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor/Full Professor). Applicants must have a PhD completed, and must be able to demonstrate top research outcomes, interest in teaching and evidence of academic leadership.

Successful applicants will be expected to carry out an independent research program that achieves international recognition, advise PhD students and teach in undergraduate and/or Masters and PhD programs.

We predominantly seek to fill the position in the fields of Macroeconomics and/or Health Economics, but exceptional applicants in any area of Economics will also be considered. For candidates in appropriate fields, affiliation with the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Population Ageing Research is possible: http://www.cepar.edu.au/
