UQ’s School of Economics is a leading provider of economics education in Australia, and ranks in the top 50 among Economics departments worldwide for its research. The school invites application for the position of Deputy Head of School, School of Economics for 3 years (Offered as an Academic Level D/E with a continuing Associate Professor/Professor appointment). As the Deputy Head of School you will assist in providing leadership and management to the School, acting as an advocate within the School, supporting the implementation of School and University strategic plans. As our ideal candidate, you are expected to have a PhD, with experience in leadership, strategic thinking and an organisational acumen.
