The Department of Economics within the College of Business at Central Washington University seeks applicants for a tenure-track, assistant professor position beginning September 1st, 2020. The department has six full-time faculty members and currently offers an attractive teaching load (2 courses per quarter) with small classes and a relaxed teaching environment. The Central Washington University campus is located in Ellensburg, a small community 110 miles from Seattle, WA.
In addition to teaching courses in Principles of Microeconomics/Macroeconomics, the candidate will teach courses in Money and Banking, and Intermediate Macroeconomics. Depending on the needs of our department and candidate interests, the candidate may also teach courses in International Economics, Business Analytics, and quantitative methods. Members of the faculty are expected to advise students and to produce published research.
