The Department of economics invites applications for a 2-year post-doctoral position; all fields will be considered, but there is a preference for empirical applied microeconomics. Applicants should also demonstrate how they can contribute to faculty diversity, such as through membership in a group that is historically underrepresented in economics or through other experience.

In order to be eligible for this program, applicants must have completed their doctoral degree within that past 6 years – or expect to complete their doctoral degree by no later than July 1, 2020.

The deadline for applications is December 1, 2019. Candidates who demonstrate evidence of scholarship potential to be competitive for tenure-track appointments at the University of Missouri or other research universities will be invited for on-campus interviews.
