The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is hiring an assistant or associate professor in Ecological Economics and Resilience. The incumbent will develop a high-impact program in ecological economics as related to resilient ecological systems. Required qualifications include: PhD in Agricultural Economics, Economics or related field; demonstrated ability to conduct non-market valuation; familiarity with, and interest in, basic and applied aspects of ecological resilience theory and/or sustainability theory; and excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience modeling complex and dynamic bioeconomic systems, exhibited ability to work in interdisciplinary research teams and provide program leadership, and a demonstrated excellence in teaching and student mentoring.
