Qualifications: A Ph.D. in economics or related field; outstanding ABD applicants will be considered.
The successful applicant will contribute to the economics curriculum and the liberal arts by teaching courses in undergraduate econometrics and research methodology, and principles-level and upper-level courses in the candidate’s field. Preference given to candidates with the ability to provide support for the larger management curriculum. The standard teaching load is 6 – 7 courses per year. Potential applicants should be committed to undergraduate teaching, have an understanding of, and appreciation for, the liberal arts environment.
The Department of Economics, Accounting, and Management offers majors in accounting, business management, and economics; and with the mathematics/computer science department, also majors in actuarial science and information systems.
Central College of Pella, Iowa, is a private, four-year liberal arts college.
