The Department of Economics at The University of Texas at Arlington expects to fill one tenure track position beginning Fall 2020, pending budgetary approval. Applicants must have been awarded a Ph.D. in Economics by the time of application. ABD will not be considered. We seek applicants with a specialty in applied microeconomics. We are strongly interested applicants in urban economics, health economics and/or environmental economics. Applicants with a track record of external grants, especially grants in collaboration with scholars from other disciplines, will receive preference. Most teaching will be at the upper level undergraduate and MS level. Submissions should be made via the link below before December 1, 2019. Review of submitted materials will commence Dec. 1, 2019, but the position will remain open until filled.
