The Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking two senior financial economists with at least 5 years of experience and research interests in the areas of term structure modeling, financial markets & stability, consumer/household finance, and banking & financial institutions.

Candidates should have a proven track record of publications related to one or more of these areas.
Successful candidates will be expected to continue to publish in top academic journals and provide in-depth analysis to Bank policy briefings. Excellent communication skills are required.

The Department maintains an excellent research environment, provides substantial research support, and houses several research centers including the Center for Quantitative Economic Research, the Center for Financial Innovation and Stability, and the Center for Human Capital Studies. The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is also the site of the Atlanta Research Data Center which provides restricted access to non-publicly available Census data.
