The Department of Economics at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) seeks applications to fill three tenure-track positions at its campus in Mexico City starting August 2020. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited institution by August 2020.
The positions are in the following fields:
• Econometrics, Applied Statistics;
• Applied Microeconomics, Labor, Health, Empirical Industrial Organization;
• Any field.
Candidates are expected to develop outstanding scholarly research in the aforementioned fields. Candidates will be expected to provide quality teaching at the undergraduate and masters levels. The average teaching load is two courses per year.
The Economics Department of CIDE has been top ranked as a leading Mexican higher education institution. The Mexico City campus offers undergraduate and Masters programs in Economics.
Successful applicants are expected to be able to teach in Spanish within two years following the appointment.
