Applications are invited for one or more tenure-track faculty appointments at the Assistant Professor level specializing in environmental and natural resource economics to begin in Fall 2020. Candidates working on energy related topics or who work in other subfields closely related to environmental and natural resource economics may also be considered. Candidates must have outstanding research potential and demonstrated teaching effectiveness. An appointee will be expected to engage in high-quality research publishable in top field and general interest journals, be an effective classroom teacher at the undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. levels, and assist individual students in research projects, theses and dissertations. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the Ph.D. sequence in environmental and natural resource economics. Binghamton University also has active research programs in sustainability and environmental studies and an appointee may find additional opportunities to collaborate with researchers in these areas.
