Subject to budgetary authorization, the Department of Economics will consider applications for one position at the assistant professor level to begin July 1, 2020. We invite applications from both new Ph.D.s and individuals a few years post Ph.D.

The department seeks candidates with expertise in Industrial Organization, broadly defined. In particular, the department also welcomes applicants whose specialization extends to other areas of applied microeconomics or applied macroeconomics, but whose research, in substance and/or methodology, emphasizes consumer and firm behavior, competition, innovation, or government regulation. Successful candidates must demonstrate substantial promise for a scholarly career.
