Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Economics at Boston College invites applications for two tenure-track positions beginning in Fall 2020.

The first position is for a labor economist. We are especially interested in candidates at the level of Associate or Full Professor, who can provide intellectual leadership in labor and related fields across applied microeconomics, but candidates at the level of Assistant Professor will also be considered.

The second position is at the level of Assistant Professor, though in exceptional cases, a higher-level appointment may be considered. We are especially interested in candidates who, in their teaching and research, find synergies between microeconomic theory and applied microeconomics.

All candidates will teach in the undergraduate and Ph.D. programs in Economics, and should be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality. To apply, please submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, job market paper, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation sent to https://econjobmarket.org/positions/6018. Application deadline: 11/15/19.
