(Advanced) Assistant or Associate Professor of Public Policy

The Department of Public Policy invites applicants to apply for a tenure-track position at the (advanced) Assistant Professor rank or Associate Professor rank (tenure-track or tenured). Candidates should have completed at least 3 years of a tenure-track assistant professor appointment or equivalent professional research experience. Priority given to candidates with disciplinary training in applied economics and/or public policy who have a commitment to interdisciplinary research collaboration, teaching and mentoring.

Candidates should have Ph.D. in public policy or economics or related interdisciplinary doctoral degrees with strong applied economic and policy content. Preference given to candidates with interests that align with our thematic clusters (https://publicpolicy.unc.edu/faculty-research/). Candidates must be able to teach economics and quantitative analysis to undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds.
