Position Description

The Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics at the University of Chicago invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in Economics at the Assistant Professor level to begin in the 2020-21 academic year. Applicants in all fields of Economics will be considered.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in Economics before starting the position of Assistant Professor.

Applicants are required to submit curriculum vitae, teaching statement, research statement, student evaluations, three letters of recommendation and a job market paper. Additionally, applicants are strongly encouraged to submit published or unpublished research papers.

Review of applications will begin on October 18, 2019 and will be accepted until March 31, 2020; early submission is encouraged. Only short listed candidates will be contacted.
