Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Department of Economics at the University of Haifa is recruiting several tenure-track junior and senior faculty members. We will consider strong candidates from all fields, but those working in Macroeconomics are particularly encouraged to apply. Junior candidates are expected to present an innovative paper and to demonstrate a high potential for research. Senior candidates should additionally have a successful publication record in leading economic journals.

The University of Haifa has over 18,000 students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Teaching responsibilities include developing new elective graduate and undergraduate courses and supervising MA and PhD students. Prior knowledge of Hebrew is not required but a successful applicant is expected to have a strong command within three years of appointment.

Applicants should submit their cover letter, curriculum vitae, job-market paper, teaching evaluations, and up two other research papers. Junior applicants should additionally arrange for three recommendation letters. Senior applicants should submit the names of at least three references. All materials should be submitted via the AEA job website.
