The Department of Economics, in the AACSB accredited College of Business Administration at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Assistant Professor position beginning August 31, 2020. The candidate will have an interest in international economics and will teach introductory economics courses and upper-division courses, such as international economics, international financial economics, or intermediate macroeconomics A typical semester includes two preparations with a nine-hour teaching load. Class sizes range from 25 to 35 students.

Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability and interest in innovative and high quality teaching, a commitment to scholarly research, and a willingness to engage in university and professional service. Applicants should have or be near completing a doctoral degree in Economics or a related field by the start date. Degree must be earned by the first personnel review, no later than May 15, 2021.

A complete application includes a cover letter addressing the candidate’s teaching experience and research interests, curriculum vita, and three confidential letters of recommendation submitted by reference providers.
