The School of Economics at Henan University in cooperation with the Center for Financial Development and Stability (CFDS) at Henan University invites applicants for a full-time permanent faculty position in the areas of macroeconomics, finance, and econometrics. CFDS is a newly founded think tank at the School of Economics of Henan University focusing on applied and theoretical issues relevant to China and the world. CFDS has currently 15 members with a research focus on Applied Economics and Econometrics, a majority with PhD degrees from the US or Europe. Candidates should hold a PhD in economics or a related discipline from a leading university. Preference will be given to candidates with a record or demonstrated potential to conduct high-quality research leading to publications in highly ranked journals. Furthermore, candidates should contribute to the centers policy advisory role.

Henan University provides therefore excellent research conditions with a low teaching load in its undergraduate or graduate programs (teaching language: English). Salaries (including research fund and housing subsidy) are competitive and will be commensurate with qualification.
