The Graduate School of Economics at Kobe University in Japan invites applications for a full-time position to teach economics and related subjects in English as part of our on-going efforts to expand English-taught programs. Teaching duties include

(a) Macroeconomics at the master's level;
(b) Introductory economics and intermediate macroeconomics at the undergraduate level;
(c) English literacy courses such as academic reading and writing.

The employment starts on October 1, 2020. The rank of the position is Professor, Associate Professor, or Lecturer. The position is a three-year fixed-term contract without renewal.

The successful candidate must be a native English speaker or have native-level fluency in English, hold a Ph.D. in economics by the start date, and demonstrate a record of high-quality research in economics.

The salary will be determined by university regulations. There is a possibility that an annual salary scheme is applied.
