The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University invites applications from outstanding candidates for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level beginning in the Fall of 2020. The position is part of a new initiative in data analytics and global affairs, housed in the School’s Landegger Program in International Business Diplomacy. The ideal candidate would have outstanding quantitative skills; interest in teaching data collection, estimation, and visualization; and a field of application relating to international affairs, such as international trade, international political economy, development, migration, health, investment, finance, international business regulation, corporate governance, energy, or the environment. Candidates must demonstrate outstanding research potential and have their PhD by the start of employment.

The committee will begin reviewing applications on November 1, 2019. Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, job market paper, and three letters of recommendation.
