The Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR) invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships in applied economics to start Summer/Fall 2020 and continue for up to two years as part of the Young Scholars program, a program that supports top early-career economists pursuing policy-relevant research.
The program provides a competitive stipend plus support for travel and research-related expenses. Fellows are integrated into Stanford’s vibrant and collegial economics research community, leading to new sets of collaborators and mentors, and receive several opportunities to present and obtain feedback on their research. Fellows can be in any applied policy research area, and must have completed their Ph.D. between September 1, 2019 and August 31, 2020.

SIEPR’s mission is to catalyze and promote evidence-based knowledge about pressing economic issues, leading to better-informed policy solutions for generations to come. SIEPR has more than 100 affiliated faculty who represent all seven schools of Stanford, and is located next door to the university’s economics department. For more information about SIEPR, visit http://siepr.stanford.edu.
