The SC Johnson College of Business and Cornell Tech invite applications for full time faculty positions in business disciplines based at the Cornell Tech campus in New York city. Applicants with strong research and teaching interests related to digital technologies and their influence on business, including but not limited to digital marketing, fintech, digital business models, entrepreneurship, future of work, digital product development, and the environmental and ethical implications of digital technologies, are especially well-suited to the mission of Cornell Tech.

The selected faculty will be part of one of the major academic area groups at the SC Johnson College of Business (https://business.cornell.edu/faculty-research/) and also part of the multi-disciplinary faculty at Cornell Tech (https://tech.cornell.edu/people/faculty/), which includes, in addition to faculty who are part of the SC Johnson College of Business, faculty who are part of Cornell’s schools of law, computer and information sciences, and engineering. The selected candidate will be expected to start on July 1, 2020 and will be based at the Cornell Tech campus in New York City, although some teaching and research may be done at the Ithaca campus.

Responsibilities of the position include research in area(s) of expertise, teaching basic and advanced courses in management at the MBA, EMBA and/or Ph.D. levels, teaching in the interdisciplinary masters programs at Cornell-Tech, supervision of doctoral candidates, and service to the area, school and university.

The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business (established on July 1, 2016) combines three AACSB-accredited Schools: The Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management (Johnson), the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management (Dyson), and the School of Hotel Administration (Hotel School). The Johnson Graduate School of Management is expected to be the primary affiliation of the selected candidate.
