Adjunct Faculty Positions: Economics

We are seeking adjunct instructors to teach the courses Economics and Gender and Statistical Methods for Economics in Fall 2019.  This course is located in the Economics concentration of the Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences at DAUS.

Economics and Gender first reviews how gender issues have been addressed by various economic schools of economic thoughts.  It then explores questions regarding the roles and positions men and women occupy in the process of producing material wealth, such as gender-based division of economic thoughts. Finally the course discusses macroeconomic and global aspects of gender inequalities in different regions of the world.  The course meets on Thursday, 6:20-8:50 p.m. from 09/05/2019-12/20/2019.  Prerequisite:  Introduction to Microeconomics.

Statistical Methods for Economics meets on Mondays from 6:20-8:50 p.m. from 09/09/2019-12/20/2019.  Prerequisites:  History of Economic Thought, Introduction to Macroeconomics, Introduction to Microeconomics, Mathematical Methods for Economics.

Qualifications:  Ph.D preferred, MA accepted.
