The Department of Quantitative Theory and Methods (QTM) at Emory University anticipates hiring three quantitative social scientists with expertise in statistics, data science, mathematical modeling, and/or analytical theory. The positions are tenure-track at the level of Assistant Professor or, for the extraordinary file, tenured at the Associate Professor level. Teaching load is competitive.

QTM is a new and rapidly growing interdisciplinary department at Emory designed to connect faculty communities involved in quantitative research across the college and university. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence/the promise of excellence in both research and teaching, as well as an interest in contributing to and participating in QTM’s intellectual mission. The candidate should have completed the Ph.D. by September 2020.

A complete application will consist of a cover letter, a research statement, curriculum vitae, graduate transcript, teaching portfolio, writing sample, and three letters of recommendation.
