Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy is seeking a colleague to join our faculty as McKinney Professor of Environmental Resilience and Philanthropy. The position would begin August 1, 2020 and it is a 10-month tenure track eligible position. This is an open rank and open discipline, tenure-line search. Applicants should conduct research and teach at the intersections of philanthropy and the environment, with a particular interest in philanthropy’s contribution to climate change resilience and adaptation. This position is one of several new faculty lines created as part of Indiana University's Grand Challenges, Prepared for Environmental Change. (Please refer to the following links)
The faculty of the school will look for an excellent scholar, who will engage in building the field of philanthropic studies, and demonstrate an interest in engaging current and future practitioners. Disciplines might include earth sciences, economics, ethics, history, management, psychology, and/or sociology.
