NYU Shanghai is currently inviting applications for a Visiting (rank open) Professor of Economics beginning January 2020. NYU Shanghai seeks candidates who have a clearly demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching. In particular, strong candidates will have expertise in teaching courses in international economics--including international trade and open-economy macroeconomics. The search is open, however, in terms of research topics and settings and consideration will be given to all highly qualified candidates throughout the economics field.

The teaching load for this visiting appointment is 2 courses per term. Candidates should hold a PhD in Economics at the time of appointment and have significant experience teaching.
